Submission Policy

House of Parlance Media, Inc. publishes poetry, graphic novels and manga for people who demand quality & freshness in what they read. We take pride in the publishing original work by young writers and artists whose vision we admire.

We are looking for material that is challenging, original and possesses a strong aesthetic. We are looking for strong voices.

We are not interested in publishing art or writing that fits into the mainstream genres of superhero, vigilante, fantasy and science fiction.

Though we certainly accept them, we will not assume responsibility for unsolicited submissions. Please do not send us anything that you would mind being thrown away. Do not send us your originals. Please allow us 2 or 3 months for a response.

Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for us to enclose our reply in.

We also request that you send along a cover letter stating your name and address, etc… as well as a brief list of credits if it applies.

Thank you in advance. Please see below for the technical specs for submissions…

Script Submissions:

Please submit a story synopsis that is a one-page outline. This can be accompanied by the full script.

Spelling, punctuation and grammar are crucial. We will not read a submission that is riddled with errors. Please have someone proof your work before sending it to us.

submit penciled, inked and colored work.
